As a Sourcing Manager at GSI, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating our supply chain’s effectiveness by transforming vendor relationships and spend categories into engines of competitive advantage. You’ll do more than source—you’ll architect systems, drive measurable savings, and strengthen our ability to respond to client needs with speed, precision, and cost discipline. This is a highly cross-functional role, ideal for someone with the cognitive sharpness, operational rigor, and commercial acumen to scale their impact and grow toward Director-level leadership.

We are not looking for someone who merely executes purchase orders. We want a results-oriented thinker who plays offense, creates leverage in every deal, and sees complexity as an opportunity to innovate, not avoid.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

+ Lead data-driven, outcome-focused category management strategies across assigned spend areas.

+ Own category performance with quantified goals around cost savings (≥5% YoY), on-time delivery, and standard work adoption.

+ Use analytics and market insight to proactively identify new sourcing opportunities.

    Vendor Optimization & Partnership

+ Evaluate, select, negotiate, and manage high-performance suppliers aligned with project urgency and cost effectiveness.

+ Deliver sustainable performance improvements through structured vendor scorecards and supplier development efforts.

+ Navigate constrained timelines and dynamic project needs without compromising on GSI’s quality and speed expectations.

    Estimating, Quoting & Cost Strategy

+ Serve as the bridge between proposal and operations: deliver accurate quoting, pricing matrices, and cost levers to support winning proposals and flawless execution.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to reduce quote variability, improve vendor leverage, and bring visibility to estimating accuracy.

    Process Development & Standard Work

+ Codify and optimize purchasing processes; partner across business units to build scalable systems that reduce chaos and increase repeatability.

+ Establish operating rhythms, playbooks, and metrics for ongoing sourcing excellence.

+ 3+ years in a strategic sourcing or procurement role with quantifiable impact

+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field

+ Proven RFQ leadership and cost savings delivery

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, cost models, dashboards)

+ Familiarity with lean operations and standard work principles

+ Construction or field-based project support experience is a strong plus

+ Experience in indirect purchasing is a plus
