Our fast-paced, highly collaborative internal Data Team is seeking an experience Senior Data Analyst as we continue to grow our data team into 2025. This successful candidate will participate in the planning of strategic direction through data insights, support initiatives to achieve strategic goals, manage relationships as they act as a liaison between the development teams and stakeholders throughout the project cycle, and provide actionable insights through extracting relevant data via reports, dashboards, and presentations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Develop, implement, and maintain advanced analytics systems that simplify complex data problems into actionable insights.
+ Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and areas for improvement.
+ Analyze data from projects, updates management with progress and makes recommendations based upon team's findings.
+ Provide long-term focus for the projects being analyzed and reviewed by the project teams.
+ Create comprehensive reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization to support business decisions.
+ Build pipelines for data cleaning & data transformation.
+ Communicate with multiple teams to understand their analytical needs.
+ Perform analysis in excel through formulas, v-lookup and pivot tables.
+ Present key insights when analyzing the data.
+ Provide input as needed into the design, development, and delivery of the overall data strategy.
+ Liaise with internal stakeholders to build collaboration and ensure operational activities align with business goals and strategies.
+ Facilitate meetings and workshops at all levels across client organizations to inform solution development.
+ Design and execute project plans in conjunction with senior management.
+ Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for all project teams.
+ Lead teams in developing tactical strategies to achieve corporate goals.
+ Ensure that the objectives of the teams are consistent with corporate goals and strategy.
+ Coach and direct team members regarding the use of continuous improvement process techniques that can lead to business opportunities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

+ Bachelor’s degree in subjects such as business, statistics, data analytics, computer science or related fields required.
+ 7-8 years Previous experience working as a data analyst in a financial services/banking/insurance environment are required.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
+ Demonstrated experience delivering solutions in any of the following platform-based cloud solutions; AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or Google Cloud.
+ Expertise in Power BI/ tableau for data visualization well as experience with other data reporting tools like SSRS.
+ Project based experience applying predictive and descriptive analytics.
+ Strong analytical and communication skills.
+ Excellent project management, organizing and planning skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business-related software, Atlassian experience preferred.
+ Stay informed on relevant insurance industry trends.
+ Must be results-oriented and able to problem solve and work well independently and/or in a team environment.
+ Strong communication and presentation skills both verbal and written, including the ability to communicate business and technical information clearly.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple business priority requests and work items, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with business requirements.
+ Support existing dashboards and reporting, such as KPI initiatives.
+ Ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive business performance with a proactive approach to analyzing data and identifying growth opportunities.
