SAP ECC Functional Consultant - Controlling (CO)

We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Controlling (CO) and cost allocation processes. This role will focus on analyzing existing allocation cycles and structures, recommending process improvements, and helping design and implement future-state solutions in close collaboration with business stakeholders. This is a hybrid role in New York, requiring 1-2+ days onsite per week.
+ Analyze current cost allocation cycles, structures, and methodologies within SAP ECC.
+ Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend future-state solutions.
+ Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs.
+ Support the implementation, testing, and validation of new or enhanced CO processes.
+ Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for cost allocation functionalities.
+ Ensure alignment of controlling processes with business objectives and financial reporting needs.
+ 3+ years hands-on experience with SAP ECC Controlling (CO) module, particularly in cost allocations.
+ Strong understanding of cost center accounting, internal orders, and allocation cycles.
+ Proven ability to analyze and redesign financial processes.
+ Experience in functional testing, issue resolution, and end-user support.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with S/4HANA or involvement in ECC to S/4HANA transition projects.
+ Background in finance or accounting.
+ Familiarity with cross-module integration (e. . , FI, MM, PP).
+ Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
+ Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
+ Pay Rate: $70/hr USD
