    Job Overview:

    Under the supervision of a Department of Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor or Manager, the Cook Helper complete tasks as outlined in the job flow for daily position assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation required

    + Prior cooking experience in a healthcare facility required

    + Position may require to work every other weekend depending on department s needs

    Preferred:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Culinary Degree or Certification. Serv Safe Certified

    + Prior experience in food service preferred

    + Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation required

    Scheduling Requirements

    + Shift: Evening

    + Status: Per Diem

    + Hours: Flexible (Based on the needs of the department

    Essential Functions:

    + Complete tasks as outlined in the job flow for daily position assigned

    + Retrieve, prep and prepare items according to the daily production sheets and recipes

    + Follow all HACCP guidelines for food and physical safety.

    Pay Range $19.73-$19.73 Hourly Rate
