The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced cook and driver to our Healthcare Foodservice team in Pittsburgh, PA 15243. As a cook and driver, you will have the opportunity to prepare delicious food and transport it to a variety of locations as needed.

Schedule will include varied shifts: 5am to 2pm and 2pm to 630pm

What you'll be doing:

+ Performing food preparation and production tasks while following recipes and safe food handling policies and procedures.

+ Ensuring proper portion and temperature control and proper storage of leftover food.

+ Loading and transporting food products from one location to another according to an assigned schedule.

What we're looking for:

_Must-haves:_

+ Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.

+ Ability to use a variety of kitchen equipment and tools, as well as to identify and differentiate food items.

+ High-level product knowledge and the ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service.

+ Excellent attention to detail.

+ A valid state driver’s license for the vehicle used for transport and a clean driving record.

+ At least one years’ experience in a high volume establishment with an emphasis on cooking from scratch.

_Nice-to-haves:_

+ Food Handler’s certification.

Compensation Range

+ Pay rate between $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based upon relevant experience
