We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with at least one year of phlebotomy experience. This full-time position offers an opportunity to support clinical research activities, working closely with a Clinical Research Coordinator and Investigator. The role involves comprehensive quality control activities and medical documentation in a clinical study environment.
Responsibilities
+ Assist Clinical Research Coordinator and Investigator in various clinical study activities.
+ Provide comprehensive Quality Control activities related to source documents and CRFs for clinical trials.
+ Ensure completion and accuracy of medical documentation and adherence to GCP requirements.
Essential Skills
+ Experience of at least one year or more in drawing blood.
+ Good computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
+ Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Internet technology.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and detail-oriented document review abilities.
+ Training or experience in clinical research GCP requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Medical Assistant Vocational School Certification or Associate Degree.
+ Minimum of two years' experience working in the medical field.
+ Medical Assistant certification.
Work Environment
This position is based in a 24-hour clinical research facility with a clinic-type setting. The facility employs approximately 80 individuals. The work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an unpaid half-hour lunch break.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
