Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You'll be responsible for operating machines, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our production line.

Responsibilities

+ Work in a warm environment and follow directions from supervisors.

+ Operate machines to complete production tasks swiftly and efficiently.

+ Perform wiping operations as trained and remove paint from turnbacks or rejects when necessary.

+ Process all required paperwork accurately and timely.

+ Check the quality of parts and maintain quality standards by removing damaged parts from the line.

+ Initiate and respond to AMTs for turnbacks or reworks to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

+ Compose effective corrective actions when given an AMT by a downstream department.

+ Maintain general cleaning and safe operation of the wiping area.

+ Meet established labor standards with a weekly labor utilization rate above 90%.

+ Work according to the department schedule and achieve on-time delivery rates of 92%.

+ Generate valuable enhancements that provide value to the department and company.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor and production line work.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to work in a warehouse production environment.

+ Production assembly skills.

+ Assembly line experience.

Work Environment

Our work environment includes a first shift from 6am to 2:30pm with flexibility based on personal situations, and a second shift from 2pm to 12:30am. Employees are expected to adhere to safe practices, contributing to a clean, organized, and accident-free workplace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Wing, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
