    Production Worker - Press Helper

    Job Description

    The Production Worker will assist the Printing Press Operator in running automated machines that print on bags and pouches. This role is physically demanding with a lift requirement of 40-50 pounds. The Production Worker will collaborate closely with the Press Operator to load and unload materials into the machine, including rolls of material and ink.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist the Printing Press Operator with operating automated printing machines.

    + Load and unload materials such as rolls of material and ink into the machine.

    + Maintain a clean work area during downtime.

    + Learn how to move materials around the plant and mount them.

    + Collaborate effectively as a team player.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production and general production.

    + Proficiency in inspection, packing, and using tape measures.

    + Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operation.

    + Skills in assembly and packaging.

    + Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with forklifts and blueprint reading.

    + Ability to perform visual inspections and material handling.

    + Skills in inventory management and production line operations.

    + Experience in picking, labeling, and maintaining cleanliness.

    Work Environment

     

    The worksite is located in Albuquerque, NM. Employees can work either the first shift from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Monday to Friday) or the second shift from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Monday to Friday). Each shift is 7.5 hours with two 15-minute breaks. Flexibility is required as needed.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $16.25/hr.
