Job Title: Line Cook

Job Description

As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the daily operations, connecting guests with premium dairy products. Your responsibilities include preparing, serving, and maintaining high standards of quality as outlined by the foodservice guidelines, while embodying shared values to ensure guest satisfaction. You will report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, managing food service stations, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to food and sanitary guidelines.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare all food orders quickly, correctly, and with the highest quality.

+ Operate and maintain grills, fryers, and assorted kitchen equipment.

+ Uphold foodservice guidelines and brand standards, adhering to local and state laws.

+ Prep, date, rotate, and check temperatures of food products.

+ Assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen equipment.

+ Complete opening and closing procedures.

+ Stock supplies necessary for recipe preparation.

+ Label and stock daily/weekly orders from food service vendors.

+ Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, changing sanitary solutions hourly.

+ Record temperatures of refrigeration and freezer equipment at open and close, notifying personnel if temperatures are out of range.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to perform in a fast-paced cafeteria-style restaurant.

+ Experience reading order tickets and preparing materials.

+ Strong customer service skills.

+ Experience in food production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Industrial kitchen cooking experience, ideally with a fryer and a flattop.

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience with commercial food preparation and equipment.

+ Knowledge of health regulations.

+ Food Handler’s Certification required within 30 days of hire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37544.00 - $37544.00/yr.
