Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and repair of multiple buildings on-site. Your tasks will include painting, sheet rock/drywall repair, irrigation systems repair, and minor troubleshooting and repair across all trades including HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure the maintenance and repair of nine buildings on a large campus.
+ Perform painting, sheet rock/drywall repairs, and irrigation system repairs.
+ Conduct minor troubleshooting and repairs in HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.
+ Organize and plan setups and teardowns for events.
+ Supervise two employees and manage their daily tasks effectively.
Essential Skills
+ Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
+ Experience in maintenance repair.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3+ years of maintenance or handyman experience.
+ Lead or supervisor experience preferred.
+ Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
+ Capability to prioritize tasks and plan accordingly.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large, peaceful church campus located in a heavily wooded area. The role involves a mix of indoor and outdoor work, and employees will use a golf cart to access different areas. The position requires readiness to handle frequent work orders and an ability to work diligently.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
