To function in a role as a certified paramedic that can transport, care for and assist in the care of a diverse and multi-faceted patient population.

To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the appropriate level of patient care according to the scope of practice approved by the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire and Transportation Services and the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of EMS, Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati Southwest Ohio Protocols, Commission on Accreditation for Medical Transport Systems as well as organizational and departmental policies and procedures. While operating under the outline's rules and regulations, the paramedic will care for and treat chronically, acutely ill and/or injured patients- primarily between facilities.
