Minimum qualifications:
+ Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 7 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis.
+ 4 years of experience leading teams in people management and technical leadership roles.
+ Experience building and deploying statistical models and machine learning algorithms, in a marketing or technical-driven environment.
+ Experience driving cross-functional initiatives from conception to execution, collaborating with stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience supporting client-side media and marketing data science.
+ Experience working with advanced analytics solutions involving causal inference and predictive modeling.
+ Experience with marketing attribution models.
+ Understanding of incrementality measurement methodologies and frameworks.
+ Ability to be proactive and flexible, to operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment.
As a Marketing Data Science Manager for the Global YouTube Marketing team, you will be a pivotal leader in driving our marketing strategy through advanced data science methodologies. You will build, mentor, and lead a team of talented data scientists, empowering them to develop models, conduct insightful analyses, and generate actionable recommendations that optimize our marketing efforts. Your expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and marketing analytics, combined with your leadership, will enable the marketing team to make data-driven decisions that maximize campaign effectiveness and quantify the impact of our initiatives.Know the user. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Build, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing data scientists to deliver advanced investigative solutions, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
+ Architect, develop, and optimize statistical models and machine learning algorithms, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, data engineering, analytics) to build data models, automate processes, and unlock actionable insights that drive business decisions and results.
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape the overall data science strategy that empower reporting, analytics, and advanced modeling across the organization.
+ Mentor the team on data science best practices, including incrementality measurement, attribution modeling, and campaign performance analysis, ensuring adherence to industry standards and driving the development of solutions to address complex business challenges.
