    Position Summary

    Vantage is seeking a strategic and hands-on Analytics Manager to lead and grow its enterprise analytics capability. This individual will oversee the development of advanced data solutions and reporting frameworks that enable stakeholders across the business to make data-driven decisions. This role is both a builder and a leader—responsible for aligning analytics strategies to business goals while managing a small team of high-performing data professionals.

     

    The successful candidate will bring strong experience in enterprise data environments (e.g., Power BI, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks), a solid understanding of data modeling and architecture, and the leadership skills to guide a growing analytics function. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on organizational performance, technology evolution, and strategic insight delivery.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    + Lead the execution of a scalable and forward-looking analytics strategy in alignment with enterprise goals and IT architecture.

    + Manage and mentor a team of two Data Engineers and one Data/Business Analyst, fostering collaboration, skill development, and performance.

    + Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable data solutions, analytics dashboards, and decision-support tools.

    + Oversee and enhance the data pipeline lifecycle—ingestion, transformation, storage, and visualization—ensuring high data quality and performance.

    + Architect and maintain robust data models that support scalable self-service analytics and advanced reporting across the organization.

    + Design and enforce data governance and standardization practices in partnership with the IT architecture team.

    + Serve as a subject matter expert in analytics technologies including Power BI, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.

    + Champion the use of data to drive innovation, efficiency, and business value across departments.

    + Proactively research, evaluate, and implement emerging analytics tools and practices to strengthen platform capabilities.

    + Support strategic projects and act as the analytics lead on cross-functional initiatives.

    Education & Experience:

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

    + 5–10 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence roles, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Talents

    + Demonstrated expertise in SQL and Python for data analysis and transformation.

    + Strong grasp of data modeling, warehouse architecture, and business intelligence tools.

    + Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and timelines in a cross-functional environment.

    + Ability to balance changing and potentially conflicting priorities & working with uncertainty.

    + Strong communication skills for making presentations, developing and maintaining relationships with ability to communicate complex issues in a crisp, clear and concise way is ideal.

    + Knowledge of data quality frameworks and data governance best practices.

    + Previous experience with ELT/ETL pipeline design and implementation in cloud-based environments.

    + Exposure to agile delivery methodologies and collaborative project management tools.

    + Experience aligning analytics with business goals, including performance metrics, reporting standards, and operational KPIs.

    + Ability to identify problems, formulate solutions, influence others, and drive results are important skills for this role.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The estimated base pay range for this position is: $120,000 - $180,000 annually. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills and geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive program.
