    The Village at Proprietors Green (VPG) is a well-established 149-unit Senior Living Community offering a continuum of independent, assisted and memory care apartments in Marshfield, MA with a strong reputation of caring and empathy. We are part of Welch Senior Living, a family-owned provider of senior services for over 65 years

     

    We are looking for a Breakfast and Lunch COOK who is dependable, warm and empathetic and with a willingness to work as a collaborative team member.

     

    This is a part-time-time/weekend position reporting to the Executive Chef, Saturday and Sunday from 6am - 2:30pm.

     

    Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen. Executes hot and cold food production in accordance with standards of plating guide specifications. Attends to the detail and presentation of each order. Places and expedites orders.

     

    Must have food service training with at least 2 to 3 years of previous food service experience in a Restaurant, Assisted Living or Health related facility. A knowledge of food handling, storage and sanitation.

    This PART-TIME position is eligible for the following benefits:

    + Sick time accruals per state regulation (1 hour earned for every 30 hours worked)
