    The Team:

    Based in New York, S&P Global’s Investor Relations team is responsible for all communication with shareholders and analysts. This includes the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, assisting in the preparation of SEC filings (forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.), and direct engagement with the investor community. This is a critical team, working very closely with the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors.

    Responsibilities and Impact

     

    The Sr. Director, Investor Relations will be expected to have immediate impact, assisting in the preparation of all investor communication materials, investor targeting strategies, and shareholder analysis. The role has high visibility and the individual will be expected to make meaningful contributions to S&P Global’s strategic thinking, collaboration across the finance team and divisional operations, and our external engagement initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    + Playing a leading role in the preparation of earnings materials and other investor communications content

    + Project management for special events (Investor Day, Investor Roadshows, etc.)

    + Managing investor targeting initiatives and corporate access planning

    + Competitive intelligence, peer benchmarking, and valuation analysis

    + Significant opportunities for expanded responsibilities over time

    **Compensation/Benefits Information:** (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

     

    S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $148,257 to $259,889. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

     

    In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

    What We’re Looking Fo** **r:

    Basic Required Qualifications:

    + Highly skilled individual with 10+ years of experience, ideally in investment banking or equity research.

    + The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a buy-side or sell-side equity analyst role, in addition to corporate finance experience.

    + Knowledge of financial modeling, equity valuation, and competitive intelligence are a must. **​**

    + Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are critical to success in the role.

    + Knowledge of the information services industry would be a strong advantage.
