The Position
Clinical Program Planners perform and supervise a variety of planning and analytical functions in support of clinical programs and activities within divisions of the Department of Health and Human Services, including quality improvement, program design, policy and procedure development, program evaluation, research, contract and grant development and administration, strategic planning, and training initiatives.
The Division of Public and Behavioral Health Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services in Sparks is hiring for a Clinical Program Planner 1 (underfill for Clinical Program Manager 1) for the Dini-Townsend Hospital. This position oversees the hospital licensure, Joint Commission Accreditation, and the CMS Certification. The position collaborates with all leadership positions at the hospital to provide recommendation on insights on keeping all programs in compliance with laws and regulations. The position is over the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program and receives, logs and responds to all incent reports, patient complaints, and grievances. The position is responsible for making sure all agency protocols are reviewed and revised in compliance with most recent standards. The position serves as the Patient Safety Officer and completes Death reviews. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a social science or health related field, which included clinical intervention coursework, and two years of professional experience as a clinician in a mental health or intellectual disability service delivery setting.

Some positions require professional licensure, certification, and/or specialized experience which will be identified at the time of recruitment.
Special Requirements
A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.
Proof of a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continued employment.
