    *Hybrid role in Westlake, TX*

     

    We're seeking a strong 10+ year full stack engineer skilled with Java, Spring, API, REST services, Angular, and either Kafka or Apache Flink to work for Eliassen Group / our direct clients on a long term multiyear consulting engagement supporting the financial sector

     

    _Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

     

    _Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2_

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop innovative solutions which create amazing experiences for/to the end user.

    + Develop Java application development using Spring Boot / Spring Core as you design build, and document externally facing RESTful API (including versions, associated CICD tools, and other End-to-end (E2E) tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Udeploy, Git, JIRA

    + Work with AWS Toolsets, including but not limited to SQS, SNS, Lambda, S3, CFT, EMR, DynamoDB, RDS, Kinesis.

    + Work with databases - Oracle / PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Aerospike).

    + Perform UI/Front end with TypeScript, Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML 5.

    + Work with Event Driven Architecture (Kafka, Flink).

    Experience Requirements:

    + 10+ progressive years of full stack development (ideally 50/50, half UI, half backend)

    + **MUST HAVE** - strong abilities within public cloud, Java, Spring, Angular, API, and the ability to support critical apps with speed alongside other professionals while maintaining relationships through great written/verbal communication channels as you collaborate cross functionally as an independent software professional in a high visibility environment with high pressure/tight timeframes

    + Must be a self-starter, must be willing to learn, innovate, and mentor juniors when they need assistance with development tasks as needed (mentoring is a smaller part, 5-10% of the time)

    Education Requirements:

    Bachelors Degree (Computer Science or equivalent) required

     

    _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
