INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities)
The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing operational processes across the organization. This role requires strong experience in process building, operational strategy, and leading technology transitions, specifically migrating business operations to Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
+ Lead the planning and execution of migration projects to Microsoft platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, Power BI, Power Automate, and other related tools.
+ Collaborate with IT, business units, and external vendors to ensure smooth transition and adoption of Microsoft technologies.
+ Establish performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives to monitor operational effectiveness.
+ Manage cross-functional teams and provide leadership to ensure alignment with company goals.
+ Oversee risk management and compliance related to operational processes and technology platforms.
+ Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
+ Provide regular reports and updates to executive leadership on operational performance and technology migration progress.
WHO YOU ARE
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
+ Proven experience (7+ years) in operations management with a focus on process building and optimization.
+ Demonstrated experience leading migrations to Microsoft platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform).
+ Strong understanding of cloud technologies, SaaS, and enterprise software deployment.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
+ Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
+ Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or related.
+ Experience with automation tools like Power Automate and data visualization tools like Power BI.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
