Assist in managing the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policy and state and federal regulation and by using skills and experience in sales, marketing, business management, customer service, leadership, human resources development, and professional development to provide excellent service to the customer, counselor or manager/director.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
+ Manage the Park Duty Area from beginning of the shift to the end of the shift (8:00 to 5:00). Assisting newly qualified counselors with their questions and their training while on Park Duty.
+ Review park duty calls daily and provide timely feedback to managers/counselors. Continually seek out, observe, and listen to the Sales Counselors on duty in the park duty area. Implementing practices to best assist them in succeeding in prospecting, presenting, and selling. Listen to their calls and coach and assist them in obtaining answers to customer inquiries.
+ Work with the Training Manager to implement and train a Recertification Program for the counselors based on the phone calls you have listened to from the Park Duty area.
+ Assist counselors on the sales floor/park duty area by answering questions, providing direction and demonstrating leadership in the absence of their directors/managers.
+ Beacon troubleshooting and support for sales counselors.
+ Salesforce support to sales counselors by troubleshooting, answering question and assigning leads.
+ Maintain Contract Control log in accordance with company policy and procedures.
+ Manage Property Reservations and follow up to ensure all counselors are following department policy regarding reservations.
+ Assist Business Office with writing rewrite contracts for downgrades or contracts that are changing finance terms. Meet with families as needed.
+ Direct Supervisor to Administrative Assistants assigned to work on the Sales Floor. Property Reservation Desk as well as Contract Control Log process and other duties as assigned.
+ Meet with Families as necessary to resolve customer service issues in an empathetic and timely manner.
+ Serve as back up to the Property Reservation Desk providing coverage during the week as well as the weekend as applicable.
+ Serve as Back up for the Training Manager when needed.
+ Act as liaison and person most knowledgeable for new company systems and department program implementations, such as HMIS, Sales Force, etc.
+ Ensure support of the Company core values and guidelines, and encourage the Sales Team to follow the example.
+ Assist in developing sales rally information and presentations, sales department trainings, and other trainings as needed.
+ Assist in implementing new sales incentive programs. Including assisting with call nights, sales rallies, etc.
+ Assist in planning and executing of various company sales events as needed.
+ Build team morale and respect for the Company, for management, and for fellow associates.
+ Deal diplomatically with interruptions, changing priorities, high volume of work (with accuracy), and deadlines.
+ Must be able to multi-task, set priorities, and organize work.
+ Adhere to Company policies, procedures, rules, and controls.
+ Adhere to safety rules and regulations, and report unsafe practices to management. Keep Sales Floor clean and clear of safety hazards.
+ Act on customer complaints to provide satisfactory resolution.
+ Understand and achieve annual SMART goals.
+ Participate in training and skill development opportunities to improve competency and customer service.
+ Report to work on time and maintain standard attendance.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education
1-3 Years supervisory experience.

Working Environment
Work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking sales environment with counselors and management; each day can be unpredictable, so flexibility is required; travel to the prospective customer’s home to discuss their funeral service needs. Incumbent must be able to provide the level of professional service and appearance that families expect. May occasionally work alone. Must exhibit flexibility, dependability, and teamwork to coworkers.
Physical Requirements
Work in a sales environment in offices or homes; work seated for prolonged periods of time; potential eyestrain from viewing of computer monitor.

Compensation:
$26.00/hr – $32.00/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
