Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Quality and Product Performance is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance

processes and ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role

involves strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with various departments to enhance product

quality.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

+ Develop and implement quality assurance strategies.

+ Lead cross-functional teams to improve product performance.

+ Achieve a significant reduction in product defects.

+ Enhance customer satisfaction through quality improvements.

+ Responsible for leading and ensuring the safe operations of all aspects of the quality process to includeplant and lab safety and the safety of all department and plant employees.

+ Responsible and accountable for meeting internal and customer specifications, as well as documentingand certifying that cement shipped meets applicable requirements.

+ Contribute to the production and supply of cements within the specified quality parameters while meetingthe cost objectives of the Quality department and the plant as a whole.

+ As designated management representative, holds responsibility and authority for operating, maintaining,and implementing the requirements of the Corporate and Plant Quality Manuals, which must comply withthe Corporate Quality Management Program.

+ Ensure the completion and communication of required testing from all stages of production, including rawmaterials, raw mix, clinker, fuel, and cement.

+ Responsible for staffing laboratory

+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit thesebehaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

**Education:** Bachelor's degree or Minimum of 8 years in quality assurance or product performance roles.

**Field of Study Preferred:** Engineering, Quality Management, or related field

**Required Training/Certifications** : Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent

**Required Technical Skills:** Statistical analysis, Six Sigma methodologies, quality management systems.

**Travel Requirements:** Up to 25% travel may be required

Additional Requirements:

+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approvedPersonal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicablelaw, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator sealmeets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
