Holcim is planning to spin-off its North American Business to unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America’s oversized growth in construction led by the modernization of infrastructure, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operation and the growth of resilient cities.
Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the US to be fully dedicated to serving the North American market and pursue a growth strategy across the region.
The newly listed company will become North America’s leading building solutions company, with industry-leading market position to meet its customers' greatest ambitions with the most advanced building solutions from foundation to rooftop.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Regional General Manager, reporting to the CEO ACM (Aggregate Construction Materials) will provide people, strategic, operational, sales and financial leadership to the River Region covering aggregate operations in Southern Illinois, Kentucky and New Orleans, sand and gravel yards in Missouri, Mississippi and Louisiana and marine Operations
The incumbent will have bottom line responsibility plus strategic management and execution of regional
operations of multiple ACM product lines to optimize financial performance. The Regional GM is responsible for providing operational, sales and administrative oversight within the prescribed market to gain new business and maintain existing customers. The qualified candidate will serve as a member of ACM leadership team, providing direction by overseeing and coordinating the uninterrupted supply of product.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Work with General Managers and Regional Support Management to develop, communicate and execute the Region’s long- and short-term strategies, including specific goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) consistent with the ACM strategies.
• Lead the successful execution of the region’s strategies by ensuring operations, sales and financial goals are met or exceeded.
• Focus on Company objectives, including Health, Cost and Cash by maintaining a safe and compliant environment, ensuring strong profit margins/profitability, and judicious fiscal management, including proper inventory and spend.
• Grow the business by assessing market opportunities, and developing and present the business case for strategic initiatives, including acquisitions.
• Supervise and lead personnel including making recommendations for staffing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation and problem resolution.
• Increase market share and promote profitable sales growth by developing and maintaining strong
strategic relationships with current customers, and identify and win new customers.
• Increase and sustain operational efficiency by implementing and consistently evaluating effective manufacturing processes and practices.
• The Regional GM will establish and bring to fruition all related goals and policies and will exercise wide discretion in decision-making and overall related day-to-day functions.
• Build teams, set objectives, and deliver measurable results; and Ensure the success of the region’s health and safety objectives.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
**Education:** Bachelor's degree or 15 years of equivalent experience
**Additional Education Preferred:** Master's degree
**Required Work Experience:** 15+ years
**Required Technical Skills:** Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
**Travel Requirements:** 50%

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved. Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
