Your Role as Director of IT
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Information Technology to lead our IT strategy and infrastructure in alignment with our mission to provide outstanding care. As the Director of IT, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's technology strategy and operations, along with supporting IT efforts with staff members, allowing for optimal efficiency as our organization continues to grow.
What You'll Do
• Evaluate, modify, and create information systems policies and procedures
• Hire, train and manage IT employees
• Keep track of daily progress of projects in development
• Analyze current and past projects
• Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of networks, EHR systems, and data security protocols.
• Oversee IT compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare regulations.
• Partner with clinical, administrative, and executive teams to identify and deliver technology solutions that improve patient care and operational performance.
• Manage the IT infrastructure to ensure optimal function and security is maintained
• Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
• Monitor trends in healthcare technology and advise leadership on opportunities for innovation.
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, commerce, software engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Excellent leadership skills to guide and inspire their team
• Exceptional knowledge of IT systems and software development
• Strong attention to detail
• Success managing short term and long range projects
• Strong experience managing EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Athena, Meditech).
• In-depth knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and data privacy/security practices.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise IT projects in a healthcare environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
