Job Summary:

The Assembler II role will perform basic assembly and installation duties. The role will assist and learn from a senior assembler. The Assembler II will perform basic manufacturing and cleaning work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As an Assembler II , you will:

+ Train with a Senior Assembler to assemble products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products

+ Support vehicle and material movement in and around facility

+ Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions

+ Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production

+  Maintain a clean and safe work environment

+  Follow established safety procedures

+  Learn and perform assigned production procedures to support vehicle and product production

+ Perform work on vehicle systems.

+ Perform fabrication duties to include grinding, cutting and drilling using fixtures and templates

Minimum qualifications to be considered:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum of 3 years of automotive experience

+ Ability to work independently while following specific work instructions

+ Understand and exhibit the proper use of calibrated torque tools

+ Proficient with computer usage

+ Ability to learn and follow written instructions

+ Ability to perform fine hand manipulation

+ Ability to use power tools

+ Ability to focus on details and quality of work

+ Possess basic mechanic tools

+ Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance

A successful candidate may also have:

+ High School automotive shop class(es)

+ Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance

+ Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

+  Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
