As part of this effort, you will join the dynamic Business Generation and Marketing Team to help deliver on strategic growth plans and elevate Turner & Townsend’s presence across the region.

    The **Marketing Manager** will be responsible for supporting the development, planning, and implementation of a marketing program to expand Turner & Townsend’s brand profile and market share across certain regions and/or segments. This individual will partner Regional and Segment Executives and their Leadership to focus on building a strategic marketing plans that are aligned with business goals and implementing those plans throughout the year.

     

    The Marketing Manager will work directly with our Head of Business Generation & Marketing and marshal non-direct reports, BG teammates and company resources to meet marketing directives and goals related to regions and/or segments under their remit, to deliver against the marketing plans. They will own the go-to-market plan and will ensure that regions and/or segments are contributing to and leveraging the campaigns, content, PR, events , client pursuits and market research opportunities provided, strategically and timeously. The goal being to develop and deliver on a regional and/or segment marketing plan and to do so consistently and to the highest quality across.

     

    To be successful, the incumbent must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of marketing and communications planning, effectively lead the marketing planning process, and demonstrate strong stakeholder management and project management skills. This individual must think strategically, communicate clearly and be able to work with stakeholders to help formulate a viewpoint on complex issues, creating concise and well-written business narratives. The professional will nurture highly collaborative internal client relationships with segment/service/market professionals and SMEs to drive an integrated approach.

    Specific responsibilities associated with the Marketing Program Manager role include:

    Go-to-market planning and marketing execution:

    + Partner with regional and segment leads and their SMEs to develop multi-faceted go-to-market strategies that aims to: grow existing accounts, targets new business opportunities and positions Turner & Townsend as leaders in the local markets.

    + Develop annual marketing plan/s and execute against the plan/s

    + Advise technical teams on the right marketing activities to achieve their objectives; develop and maintain marketing strategies for current and future clients.

    Partner with the broader US and Global marketing team members to respond to requests for marketing support including:

    Partner with the Knowledge Management Center of Excellence (COE) to:

    + Gather up-to-date stats and facts from within the region/segment for the development of a wide range of marketing collateral.

    + Ensure case studies for the region/segment are developed for all projects, updated after the project is completed and saved to our central data warehouse.

    + Ensure resumes for team members in region/segment are updated periodically and saved to our central data warehouse.

    + Ensure staff are using the latest in terms of templates and toolkits aligned to our brand.

    Partner with the Client Engagement Center of Excellence (COE) to:

    + Support the key client/account management program.

    + Support the pursuit of new clients by briefing in account/pursuit research and sales presentation/pitch requirements from the region and/or segment in a timeously and structured fashion.

    + Gather input from the region and/or segment to update and maintain marketing collateral.

    Partner with the Campaigns and Events COE to:

    + Develop and deliver against the campaign and events calendar for the region/segment.

    + Ensure campaigns and company publications are launched internally and externally, ensure target audiences are defined and campaigns reach the intended audience.

    + Maximize relevant awards, sponsorships, speaking engagements, social media, campaigns and memberships and ensure ROI.

    + Help author submissions for event speaking and awards.

    + Ensure external speaking and networking events are planned and budgeted for and executed in a way that supports and results in lead generation.

    Partner with the Communications COE to:

    + Develop the internal and external communications plan for the region and/or segment under your remit.

    + Contribute to/author and promote region and/or segment successes, recent activities, market trends, wins etc. on internal communications platforms (Viva Engage and T2), newsletters (Connect and Page Turner).

    + Maximize external media relations and work with NAM Head of Communications to gather information and prepare spokespeople for media opportunities.

    + Ensuring our spokespeople take advantage of all media opportunities relevant for the region/segment and ensure spokespeople are well prepared.

    Reporting:

    + Contribute to regional-level Board reports, performance reviews and summaries, as requested (monthly/quarterly).

    + Provide ongoing reporting of activity and progress against the marketing plan.

    + Support the annual North America Business Generation strategic planning process; collaborating with the Head of Business Generation and Marketing to craft an actionable strategic plan aligned with our G6 regional objectives.

    Other:

    + Act as guardian of the Turner & Townsend brand ensuring consistency across the region.

    + Champion global/North America programs, deliverables, and initiatives across the region.

    + Quality control: Ensure all work is performed on time, cost effectively and according to Turner & Townsend’s high-quality standards.

    + Assist regional BG and Marketing COEs and global business generation and marketing teams, as needed.

    + SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

    Qualifications

    To provide the support that Turner & Townsend’s client-facing professionals require, the candidate will need 5-8 years of marketing and business development experience, preferably within a B2B professional services environment. Required competencies include:

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or the equivalent in prior marketing and business development experience.

    + Minimum of 7 years of experience across corporate marketing/communications, preferably within the construction consultancy, advisory, legal, architecture, or real estate industries.

    + A comprehensive knowledge of the construction consultancy/advisory business that adds value or strategically enhances deliverables and initiatives.

    + Experience working in global companies is preferred.

    + An ability to identify critical messages and unique selling points, and clearly and effectively communicate them, and to modify standard text to meet the specific requirements of each new assignment.

    + An ability to contribute strategic concepts for business and project initiatives and successfully execute those concepts.

    + Excellent project management, organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to implement/enforce procedures and to influence at all levels.

    + Should be a self-starter and possess a strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines, with an ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.

    + Superior written, analytical, and oral communications skills; very detail oriented with an eye for design and graphics.

    + Creative thinker with an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way, both written and verbally.

    + Proactive mid-level performer displaying the utmost in integrity, with a solid work ethic.

    + Strong PC skills required. **PowerPoint expertise is mandatory.** Expert in the use of Microsoft Office package, especially MSWord, Excel, and Power Point.

    Additional Information

     

    The salary range for this full-time role is** **$120K-$140** **per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
