Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a strong Sr. React Native Full-Stack Engineer to join the digital team of one of our clients. You will be helping to design, build, and maintain high quality mobile experiences with users in mind. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other teams to deliver maintainable, performant, and scalable mobile features. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and curious technologist, someone who is diligent in writing testable and well-documented code in a fast-moving agile environment.

- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile features using React Native

- Develop and maintain BFF services using Node.JS and TypeScript

- Collaborate effectively with other teams and product managers

- Integrate mobile apps with cloud-based services, primarily using AWS

- Drive improvements in app performance, reliability, and CI/CD pipelines

- Help mentor junior developers as needed and define best practices

Pay rate: 62-68/hour

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree

4+ years of experience in mobile development, 2+ years using React Native

Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript

Experience building and maintaining cloud-native Backend-For-Frontend (BFF) services (with NodeJS), especially for mobile applications

Hands-on experience integrating mobile application with AWS or other cloud providers (AWS highly preferred)

Lamdba, API Gateway, S3

Strong understanding of API design (REST/GraphQL) and backend integration

Mobile debugging, performance profiling, testing frameworks

Excellent communication, passionate and curious technologist - Experience with micro front-ends and module federation

- Native mobile development in Swift

- AWS cloud-native architecture patterns

- Knowledge of native module bridging between React Native and native iOS code

- Cloud-based observability tools (i.e. Datadog, Cloud Watch, Dynatrace)

- Familiarity with feature flags, analytics, A/B testing, mobile release cycles

- Contributions to open source or mobile developer communities null
