• Fullstack Java Developer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a fullstack software engineer to join our client remote in Kansas City. We are looking for someone with 3 or more years of experience specific to J2EE practices or Java development. Additionally, this candidate should have experience developing applications in Java based on business and technical requirements. They will be implementing application design by utilizing development languages and tools like Spring Boot and JPA. They will be ensuring that the code is scalable and meeting performance requirements through testing and performance tuning. This role will be mostly heads down with participation in agile ceremonies and team collaboration. You will mainly be tasked with working on enhancements to existing features for this application. This role is looking to start ASAP.

    Skills and Requirements

    3 + years of J2EE practices and design patterns and frameworks (Java 8 and above)

     

    Spring Boot and JPA experience

     

    REST API experience

     

    Oracle SQL or equivalent SQL experience

     

    Front end experience specific to HTML, CSS and JavaScript

     

    Git (or other source code management tools)

     

    Frontend and backend development

    Bachelors in computer science or a similar area null
