Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a GCP Application Security Architect to join their team. As a GCP Application Security Architect, you will be part of the security department supporting a diverse range of teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** GCP Application Security Architect

**Pay Range:** 65-70 W2 Pay Rate

What's the Job?

+ Design and implement application security architecture for GCP-hosted services and applications.

+ Ensure secure-by-design initiatives across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including threat modeling and risk assessments.

+ Collaborate with software engineers and cloud architects to align with security best practices.

+ Define and promote secure coding standards and security-focused CI/CD pipelines.

+ Monitor emerging GCP security features and provide recommendations for adoption.

What's Needed?

+ 7+ years in application security, software engineering, or security architecture roles.

+ 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services, including IAM and Cloud Run.

+ Deep understanding of secure development lifecycle (SSDLC) and cloud-native application patterns.

+ Experience implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub.

+ Proven ability to communicate risk to technical and executive stakeholders.
