About the Role:
As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the NLPSA senior professionals in a fast-paced environment to conduct comprehensive financial and market analysis while preparing valuation and marketing materials that succinctly present investment opportunities to all types of sophisticated capital sources. An important aspect of the job will be conducting thorough credit and collateral analysis of all real estate product types in all markets across North America.

Candidates with a fundamental understanding of concepts & practices associated with commercial real estate valuation, finance, mortgage investment banking, and working knowledge of mortgage loan & lease agreements, market analysis, and comprehensive investment analysis are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do:
+ Operate financial models in MS Excel for property and loan valuations utilizing financial statements, tenant leases and market information.
+ Review and collect critical data from mortgage loan and lease documents and other real estate agreements to assist with the preparation of financial materials.
+ Conduct research and gather data on local, regional, and national commercial real estate markets by researching a variety of sources including, but not limited to web-based research and investigating, industry reporting, regulatory and economic/financial content, municipality websites, demographics, property information, and company records.
+ Analyze real estate trends/comps and locational drivers to determine market occupancy, leasing, and investment sales activity. Conduct research on tenancy when applicable and the credit associated with those tenants.
+ Organize, evaluate, interpret, and summarize data & research in a clear and concise manner for internal and external review. Prepare a variety of detailed analyses, statements and reports which may include graphics, charts, or illustrations to succinctly present information to clients and investors.
+ Operate ARGUS Enterprise to prepare forecasts and supplement MS Excel loan valuation modeling.
+ Coordinate with clients during pre‐marketing, marketing, and due diligence processes.
+ Actively assist in the research, writing, and proofing of market intelligence for marketing materials.
+ Establish strong working relationships with clients and investors to identify business objectives. Collaborate closely with NLPSA and other internal CBRE teams, including DSF, Investment Sales, Location Intelligence and Marketing to collect market intelligence and prepare all valuation & marketing materials.

+ Motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work cross functionally, ask questions and proactively find solutions.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Economics or a related field of study from an accredited institution with a strong academic performance - please include GPA on your resume
+ Strong analytical skills, financial/math skills and a keen sense of numbers; Understanding of key financial concepts including, but not limited to, DCF, NPV, IRR and ROI.
+ Competent business writing and communication skills.
+ Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret various types of real estate documents, including loan documents, leases, contracts, and financial statements.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively and professionally with a wide variety of internal parties.
+ Close attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks to meet multiple client deadlines.
+ ARGUS Enterprise skills preferred.
+ Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
+ Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
+ Ability to think creatively to resolve problems in complex situations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the this position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $90,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
