    Here is what you will be doing

     

    + Operating a Forklift in a warehouse environment

    + Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero tolerance safety objectives

    + Selecting, palletizing, and shrink wrapping products for shipments

    + Staging orders for outbound deliveries

    + Operate/maintain forklift and warehouse equipment

    + Complete and maintain required daily paperwork

    + Some general housekeeping duties when needed

    + Occasionally work in areas outside of your normal duties, when instructed by supervisors

     

    What you'll need

     

    + 1 year of forklift operating, 1-year of marine, plant, or industrial equipment experience preferred

    + Must have the ability to obtain a TWIC card, and m ust have a Valid Driver’s License

    + Be able to read, write, and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions

    + Must be able to work shift: Monday-Friday 7 am -4 pm, weekends when vessels are loading or discharging

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Equipment certifications are a plus

     

    Here are some of the physical requirements for this role

     

    + Can work outdoors in the elements

    + Lift 50+ pounds

    + Stand/walk for long periods of time.

    + Have dexterity, good eye sight, agility and balance

    + Physically able to handle tools, climb on and off the equipment, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of heights
