    Are you passionate about nutrition and eager to apply your expertise to improve patient outcomes? We’re looking for a dedicated **Clinical Dietitian** to join our dynamic healthcare team at BID-Plymouth. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide expert nutritional care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and help shape best practices in clinical nutrition.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Conduct **nutrition screenings and comprehensive assessments** for high-risk patients, ensuring tailored, evidence-based care.

    + Develop, implement, and update **personalized nutrition care plans** , including parenteral and enteral nutrition recommendations.

    + Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize **tube feeding and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)** management.

    + Serve as a **mentor and preceptor** for dietetic interns, contributing to their growth and the continuous improvement of our clinical training program.

    + Deliver **nutritional education and training** to healthcare staff, enhancing knowledge across the care team.

    + Contribute to the creation and refinement of **patient education materials, clinical forms, policies, and standards of care** .

    + Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with hospital policies, ensuring effective communication of nutritional data.

    + Engage actively in **quality improvement initiatives** , departmental meetings, and interdisciplinary projects to enhance patient care and operational excellence.

    + Pursue continuous professional growth by **researching current scientific literature** and participating in evidence-based practice improvements.

    + Support community health through **educational fairs and outreach programs** , representing our commitment to wellness beyond the hospital walls.

    Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required:

    + Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

    Education Required:

    + Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics required.

    + Master’s Degree required for new graduates effective January 2024.

    Registration/Certification:

    + Registered Dietitian (RD) required; Massachusetts License (Dietitian/Nutritionist) within 90 days of hire.
