Lead Sterile Processing Tech (Full Time-Evenings)

**Work location:** Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway, Frisco, Texas, 75033
**Work hours:** Full Time- 40 Hours/week; Evening Shift; Monday-Friday 1430-2300 with on call
Department highlights:

Here’s What You Need
• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
• 1 Year sterile processing experience required
• 3 Years of sterile processing tech experience preferred
• Lead experience preferred
• CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician upon hire Or
• CBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution upon hire Or
• CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician upon hire
What You Will Do
• Collect, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize and disperse instrument trays, instruments and supplies
• Run appropriate tests and complete required documentation on all sterilizers and flash machines daily
• Produce accurate, complete and clean instrument trays.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Teamwork
• Leads and models interdisciplinary collaboration, including physicians and external customers.
• Promotes and mentors effective first party communication among staff, physicians, internal and external customers
