    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to manage and oversee projects as the primary point of contact for clients. In this role, you will engage with clients and lead project teams from kick-off to completion, formulating cohesive design solutions within scheduled timelines and project budgets while developing client relationships through quality service and project delivery.

    Responsibilities

    + Run point on proposals for clients and contribute to proposals for secondary markets.

    + Oversee projects as the primary point of contact for clients.

    + Engage with clients and lead project teams from kick-off to completion of construction.

    + Formulate cohesive design solutions within scheduled timelines and project budgets.

    + Develop client relationships through quality service and project delivery.

    + Engage new clients at industry events to develop new business opportunities.

    + Direct supervision of the assigned design team, including mentoring and training team members.

    + Ensure quality control for projects you oversee.

    Essential Skills

    + 5-15 years of experience in Electrical Design and Project Management with the ability to put together complete sets of biddable construction documents.

    + Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain client relationships.

    + Strong experience with AutoCAD.

    + Experience in various project types and market sectors.

    + Ability to multitask between different projects and adapt to changing technologies, codes, and tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with complex electrical systems.

    + Experience with proposal writing and client development.

    + LEED certified professional.

    + Degree in Electrical Engineering.

    + Licensed Electrical Engineer in the State of California.

    Work Environment

    The work environment fosters a laid-back culture with an emphasis on teamwork, education, mentorship, and adaptability. You will be the direct supervisor to the assigned design team, providing mentoring and training. Quality control is an integral part of the role. The position requires a minimum of three days in the office, with flexible working hours and the option for half-day Fridays. Approximately 60% of the work is office-based, 20-30% in the field, predominantly in Southern California, including LA and IE, with some projects in Northern California. The company organizes luncheons, lunch & learns, and in-office trainings to promote a collaborative atmosphere.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
