    Summary of Position

    This job provides assistance to College for Kids instructors. Position will know procedures to achieve a positive learning environment for students and create a favorable work environment for the Continuing Education department.

    Minimum Required Education

    Possess a high school diploma or GED or currently enrolled in high school or a documented home school program. Must be at least 16 years of age.

     

    Minimum Required Experience

     

    For applicants with a high school diploma or GED : Six months of wage-earning experience.

     

    For high school or home school students: At least six months of experience, which may include volunteer work, school-based activities, or other non-wage-earning responsibilities demonstrating reliability and initiative.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Ability to maintain an effective classroom atmosphere.

    • Ability to work under precise and exacting conditions.

    • Ability to interact effectively with the public, students, faculty and college personnel.
