This is a high-impact leadership role at a vertically integrated aerospace manufacturer supporting both long-standing and rapidly growing programs in commercial, general aviation, and military markets.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll have the autonomy to optimize systems, develop high-performing teams, and implement data-driven, scalable solutions that directly affect on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This is more than a tactical role — it's a strategic seat at the table. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to streamline planning, improve supplier performance, and strengthen our ERP-driven workflows.

    Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to balance customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels

+ Implement and track KPIs for delivery performance, inventory accuracy, cost control, and supplier reliability

+ Drive process improvements across inventory planning, material flow, and replenishment systems

+ Ensure ERP system accuracy across all supply chain functions, lead investigations into variances and root cause analysis

+ Strengthen supplier relationships while sourcing and qualifying new vendors for improved performance and risk mitigation

+ Use data and analytics to improve forecasting, decision-making, and supply chain visibility

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to align on project and production goals

+ Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across all supply chain processes

+ Perform additional tasks assigned by management

+ Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

    Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field

+ 7+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or materials management in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a formal leadership role

+ Experience directly managing planners, buyers, or materials teams (minimum 3–5 reports)

+ Proven ability to oversee infinite and finite/constraint-based production planning, including labor and capacity scheduling

+ Strong working knowledge of ERP/APS systems (Infor, Oracle, SAP, etc.)

+ Demonstrated success improving planning workflows, vendor performance, and material flow across departments

+ Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills — especially with Engineering, Quality, and Production

+ Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning tools

    Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in aerospace, medical devices, or other regulated manufacturing

+ APICS (CPIM/CSCP), Six Sigma, or Lean certification

+ Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field

+ Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality/regulatory standards

+ Experience building or transforming planning functions, including MPS ownership and KPI development
