Job Description

Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection has brought together industry leading products to provide our customers with fixed-point and portable gas detectors and controllers with proven reputations for quality and reliability. Every second of every day, our hazardous gas detection monitors are making workplaces like these safer around the world.

Job Summary:

Assembles and/or tests all versions of Detcon plug-in gas sensors. Gets direct supervision from the Sensor Lab Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

All assembly steps for 3999 H2S sensor (canning, scribing, spot-welding, eutectic, wire bonding...etc)

Testing of 3999 sensors using semi-automated test set-up.

Assembly and test of CAT16 and FP700 plug-in sensors

Assembly and test of TP700 plug-in H2S sensors

Assembly and test of Detcon version toxic electrochem sensors

Assembly and calibration of all ECS toxic sensors

Assembly and calibration of PID smart sensors

Assembly and test of O2 sensors

Testing of raw IR plug-in sensors

Testing of raw PID sensors

Assembly and testing of echem sensors from outside suppliers

Requirements:

Education/Skill/Experience:

Strong hand and eye coordination required. Careful attention to detail and ability to follow procedures so as to produce high quality sensors with supporting QC documentation. Able use of computers needed for various testing activities.
