What You Will Do:
+ External, outward looking, “Voice of the Customer” quality advocate for Operations-based teams working on process control, escape management, and related quality improvement initiatives.
+ Quality Member of several Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and Turbojet (TJ) Integrated Program Management Teams (IPMT).
+ Program office support for transactional quality issues associated with in-service customers; link from the IPMT to the quality representatives, product escape resolution guidance, and development hardware support.
+ Participation in escapes management process to ensure the proper allocation of resources, and the identification of root cause drivers, suspect population definition, corrective actions and proper communication with external airframe customers.
+ Quality support for implementation and execution of the program Gated process in accordance with Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) requirements, including the establishment of program quality metrics and tracking at each gate.
+ Manage compliance activities for Program Risk Management and reporting in compliance with RLPM requirements, the individual will participate with program teams during all phases of Turbojet and or Auxiliary Power system design, development, certification, production and in-service customer support.
+ Ensure regulatory, government, customer and program related quality requirements are satisfied, support product certification activities, Materials Review Board processes, and aftermarket .(MRO) actions
+ Contribute to program office Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) goals.
+ Manage standard work development to document program quality processes including but not limited to customer requirement assessment, customer interface relationship, etc.
+ Manage process and product oversight of non-conformance activity for part producers to identify and remedy adverse trending and emerging product issues.
+ Customer Market Feedback Analysis (MFA), customer scorecard sustainment. Maintain focus on customer quality improvement activities that are the baseline for the Program Quality group function, i.e. Scorecard's Quality index's, MFA's etc.
+ Manage compliance with Program Management Instruction (PMI), and CORE tool use (QCPC, Std. Work, MFA, etc. to support internal and external continuous improvement goals.
+ Participation in DAISE, Problem Resolution Team (PRT), and audit finding closeout reviews to ensure issue recurrence elimination.
+ Source Transition Review Board management for product transitions within supply base.
+ Manage changes to P&W’s quality management system required with new business agreements and support implementation of customer and supplier/partner quality plans which foster the achievement of program office delivery, cost, and quality objectives.
+ Manage audits with external customers and third parties regarding the corrective action process.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
+ Knowledge of the execution of RRCA techniques.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Master’s Degree in Engineering, Math/Statistics or Industrial Management.
+ 5+ years of quality assurance or manufacturing operations experience.
+ 3+ years of quality assurance or manufacturing operations experience with special emphasis on those processes and procedures associated with direct part producer support.
+ 3+ years of experience in developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
+ 3+ years of experience working across organizational boundaries to develop solutions to challenging issues.
+ 3+ years of experience with data analytics and data structures, trend analysis and data driven issue identification, hands-on Process mapping, PFMEAs, MSA, Control Plans, etc.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
