Full Time, Days, Cardiac Nephrology RN

Position Purpose:

If you're a compassionate **Registered Nurse (RN)** seeking a meaningful role in **acute care** , this is the opportunity for you! Join our 23-bed unit, where you'll care for both **post-surgical** and **general medical** patients in an environment that emphasizes **pain management** , **holistic treatment** , and **active involvement from patients and families** . What You’ll Do:

+ Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments and care plans.

+ Lead and coordinate the care provided by our skilled **Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)** and **Patient Care Assistants (PCAs)** , ensuring smooth, collaborative workflows.

+ Act as a key communicator within the healthcare team, effectively engaging with **physicians** , **patients’ families** , and other team members to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Hours/Schedule:

+ Full Time, .9 FTE (36 hrs / week), 7a-7p

+ Every 3rd weekend rotation

Qualifications:

+ **Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license** required

+ **Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)** preferred
