    About the Role

    Our client is partnering with a leading provider of cash application and accounts receivable automation solutions, to identify experienced **Technical Business Analysts** for a growing team. This is a **full-time, permanent opportunity** focused on supporting high-impact SaaS implementation projects centered on a **cash application platform** .

     

    The role begins with robust product training to help you become a subject matter expert (SME) in the solution. You’ll then lead the implementation and configuration of the system for clients, directly contributing to process improvement and customer success.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Complete in-depth training to become a power user and SME on the cash application platform.

    + Lead and support full-cycle implementation projects, with a focus on configuration, delivery, and client success.

    + Interact with clients functionally and technically, translating business needs into actionable system configurations.

    + Input, map, and structure various data file formats (e.g., XML, delimited, unformatted) to meet system requirements.

    + Understand and work within **Order-to-Cash (O2C)** and **Accounts Receivable (AR)** processes with an emphasis on **backend payment** and reconciliation.

    + Configure settings within the platform — **system configuration is a core responsibility** , not just requirements gathering.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, business, billing) to align deliverables with client expectations.

    + Understand different ways payments can be applied in large ERPs (e.g., by invoice, on-account, short pay, unapplied, oldest to newest).

    + Support onboarding and documentation efforts as the team scales.

    + Present and communicate well with clients — clear articulation of both technical and business needs is critical.

    + Contribute to defining best practices and improving internal implementation processes.

    + Participate in implementation planning by understanding project roles, deliverables, and what’s billable vs. non-billable.

    Qualifications

    + **5+ years** of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role involving SaaS product implementation.

    + Proven experience in **configuring SaaS platforms** , ideally in the AR or cash application space.

    + Strong understanding of the **Order-to-Cash lifecycle** , **invoicing** , **payment processing** , and **reconciliation** .

    + Experience working with **cash application solutions** via banking institutions or software vendors is required.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle); being **ERP-agnostic** is a plus.

    + Understanding of **custom data field mapping** , data formatting, and structured data conversion.

    + Excellent attention to detail — must be precise, organized, and thorough.

    + Strong analytical and documentation skills; ability to convert business requirements into clear technical specifications.

    + Effective communicator who can comfortably engage clients and internal teams alike.

    + Experience navigating **implementation projects** — working across teams, understanding billable scopes, and contributing to project structure and delivery.

    + Hands-on experience with **SaaS configuration** , ideally having served as both an end-user and a configurator.

    Location Preferences

    This role is **remote** , but candidates based in **Texas** — especially **Houston, Austin, or Dallas** — are highly preferred. Exceptional candidates from outside Texas may be considered.
