Ed Herrington Inc. is currently seeking full-time Kitchen and Bath Sales Support for daytime Monday – Friday, 7a – 4p, every other Saturday, 7a-3p.

Summary
Provides administrative and sales support of the Kitchen & Bath Sales Team, including showroom and sales responsibilities by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Matches lists to customer orders and vendor acknowledgements for routing to payables.
+ Routes orders to sales and delivery departments and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
+ Informs customer and salesperson of shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer. Confers with sales, shipping, warehouse, or vendor to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
+ Provides information in support of sales team job requirements.
+ Aides the department in the return of goods shipped or ordered incorrectly.
+ Organizes and maintains file systems as necessary. Types routine correspondence and provides other administrative support to the department.
+ Answers sales call and greet visitors to showroom to solve problems, take orders, and sell product. Writes simple orders, which may include special order plumbing, cabinet hardware & accessories, and countertops.
+ Interviews walk-in customers needing design or additional assistance and obtains contact information. Sets up appointments with sales/design staff.
+ Contacts business prospects to explain features of services, costs, and advantages. Research item requests and incorporates into orders. Responds quickly to customer needs with complete and accurate information.
+ Maintains department appearance and signage and maintains an adequate supply of product literature and samples.
+ Initiates purchase requisitions.
+ Participates in all required training.

Education/Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, & procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information & respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other employees.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Able to interpret variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job the employee will need to frequently communicate with others and must be able to exchange accurate information. Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Frequently needs to lift and/or move items that weigh up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Working conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock while working around electrically powered office equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
