    Position Summary:

    The Deputy Director, Youth Pathways, is responsible for the full oversight and management of Fedcap’s Youth Pathways program. This includes leading multiple departments—Operations, Career Services, and Retention—to ensure all contractual obligations and performance goals are met or exceeded. The Deputy Director supervises both program supervisors and frontline staff, while also representing the agency with funders and senior leadership.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Provide leadership and strategic oversight for the Operations, Career Services, and Retention departments.

    + Monitor program outcomes and ensure all contractual benchmarks are met.

    + Develop and implement operational systems, processes, and tracking tools to improve program efficiency and outcomes.

    + Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support client success and strengthen service delivery.

    + Represent the agency to senior leadership and funders, preparing reports and program materials as needed.

    + Conduct staff evaluations and support team development and performance management.

    Your Responsibilities Include:

    + Managing day-to-day operations across all Youth Pathways program departments.

    + Ensuring each department consistently meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual contractual goals.

    + Overseeing Career Services, including account management and instructors, while designing workforce development curriculum and training programs.

    + Leading vocational training initiatives and managing the employment pipeline from training completion to job placement.

    + Supervising the Retention department’s billing processes, client tracking, and outcome reporting.

    + Conducting program and department evaluations to monitor progress and effectiveness.

    + Preparing data-driven reports for internal leadership and external funders.

    + Ensuring compliance with all Fedcap policies and the timely submission of documentation, spreadsheets, and reports.

    + Performing additional duties and projects as assigned.

    You’re a Great Fit for This Role If:

    + You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

    + You bring at least five (5) years of management experience in workforce development or human services, including three years in a supervisory capacity.

    + You’ve successfully led programs serving economically disadvantaged populations such as the homeless, welfare recipients, or disconnected youth.

    + You are experienced in meeting performance-based contractual goals.

    + You have a solid understanding of workforce development and educational programming, and you know how to implement them effectively.

    + You’re a strong communicator and team builder with excellent writing and presentation skills.

    + You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can juggle multiple priorities.

    + You’re proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based systems.

    Compensation:

    $ 85,000.00 per year
