• Production Group Lead - Robotics

    Position Summary:

    Large Robotics Group Lead will be proficient in all positions within the line assigned and will lead the team. This position will coordinate, plan and train department requirements by providing clear written and verbal instruction to group members and promptly addressing any questions or concerns. This position will report to our Production Control Manager.

    Essential Functions of the Job:

    + Must be proficient in all areas of the department including ability to clear robot errors, general robot programming touch up and have general robot knowledge

    + Previous experience with FANUC robots preferred

    + Encourage a team environment

    + Set team expectations, providing the necessary resources to make meet deadlines

    + Guide employees through problem solving and process improvements

    + Lead and mentor employees

    + Lead daily safety discussions, monitor and sustain safe work areas

    + Basic knowledge of problem-solving tools for Continuous Improvement

    + Enforce all company policies, procedures and rules

    + Use continuous improvement methods for sustaining and improving quality

    + Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized

    + Must be willing to be First Aid/CPR/AED trained (at company expense)

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

    Must have proven excellent attendance with the company

     

    Must have no corrective action write ups within the last year

     

    Must be acceptance of ongoing change and ability to adapt to working in different departments, sometimes daily

     

    Basic knowledge of outlook, Word, Excel, JDE

     

    Must be experienced in blue print reading, assembly and welding skills

     

    Must be multitask oriented, organized, able to set priorities, and meet deadlines

    Education and Experience:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + 3-5 years of employment experience at Morbark
