    I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.This position will be hybrid - on site 3 days/week.

    Responsibilities:

    + SIM GDS Software Engineer will be supporting modeling developing for our digital simulation delivery

    + Develop software in C++ (20), and Python in a Linux environment

    + Write, analyze, and debug device communication protocols

    + Read and analyze hardware speccs

    + Debug software, perform unit testing, and integration testing

    + Develop in real time and mission critical systems

    + Work on site in Highlands Ranch, CO 3 days/week, 2 days remote

    Qualifications

    Required experience:

    + Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of professional software engineering experience required

    + 5+ years of experience developing in C+

    + + 5+ years of experience developign in Python

    + 5+ years of experience in a Linux environment

    + Expeirence writing/analyzing/debugging device communication protocols

    + Familiarity with reading hardware specs

    + 5+ years of experience in debugging, unit testing, and integration testing

    + Experience with threading/concurrency

    + Experience with real-time and mission critical systems

     

    Desired Experience and Skills

     

    + Working knowledge of spacecraft design and components

    + Simulink experience

    + GNC experience

    + Simics experience desired

    + Experience with DevOps tools and principles such as Jira, GitLab, Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes

    + General modeling experience

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
