We’re looking for a Senior Purchasing Program Manager to lead sourcing activities that support the successful launch of new Laundry products. This role is critical to driving cost improvement, margin optimization, and program execution excellence through cross-functional collaboration and supplier partnerships.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Key Responsibilities:
As an important member of the Laundry new product introduction (NPI) team, you will:
+ Lead sourcing activities from concept through launch to meet program cost and schedule commitments.
+ Monitor cost targets, analyze competitive benchmarks, and identify cost reduction opportunities.
+ Collaborate with Commodity Buyers, Supplier Quality, and Technology teams to engage suppliers early and develop sourcing strategies.
+ Lead supplier selection, quoting, negotiation, and onboarding activities to support program goals.
+ Evaluate supplier capacity in relation to factory demand, proactively identifying and mitigating supply risk.
+ Participate in integrated program (iP) reviews, providing cost and sourcing input.
+ Track and report cost and schedule performance to sourcing leadership.
+ Resolve supplier-related issues related to delivery, cost, safety, or quality that impact NPIs.
+ Review and approve sourcing documentation including Business Change Notices and part drawings.
+ Maintain accurate cost and lead time data in systems like the Part Information Tracker (PITs).
+ Execute direct material cost reductions through supplier leverage, part standardization, competitive analysis, and make vs. buy strategies.
+ Partner across cross-functional teams including Technology, Manufacturing, Materials, and Service to ensure sourcing success and product readiness.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 5 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, program management, or commodity management
+ Strong relationship-building and communication skills across all organizational levels
+ Proven negotiation and influencing skills
+ Experience leading supplier engagement and performance management
+ Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and business judgment skills
+ Collaborative approach to problem solving and decision making
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database systems
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
+ Background in Purchasing Program Management or Commodity Buying
+ Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI)
+ Familiarity with global sourcing strategies and supply bases
+ CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Work Environment:
+ This is a full-time onsite position based at Appliance Park in Louisville, KY
+ Travel of approximately 10–20% may be required, including domestic and occasional international trips to suppliers
