    Overview

     

    IHT Manager 1 – Patient Engagement Technology

    What you can expect:

    + Lead the Patient Engagement Team under the umbrella of Patient Access & Engagement services and the Ambulatory reporting structure.

    + Manage an established and skilled team of 5 System Analysts who are responsible for the configuration of the MyChart, Welcome, and Hello World Epic products.

    + Collaborate and develop product strategy with operational business partners & technology stakeholders to create and execute long-term application roadmaps to support the organization’s patient engagement technology needs.

    + Maintain agile framework for the team, ensuring forward progress on the Health System’s priority efforts and in adherence with global prioritization processes.

     

    The Manager 1 IHT manages professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex/technical operational or production IHT teams. This role is differentiated by the Manager 2 IHT based on business needs of the organization relative to complexity, budget, and number of direct reports and visibility of projects.

     

    + Oversees the evaluation, selection, and implementation of systems or technologies.

    + Determines business requirements and needs, identifies key performance factors, defines projects and priorities, establishes standards related to department/program operations; recommends and allocates resources based on business priorities.

    + Responsible for the planning, organizing and staffing of the department; makes decisions on personnel actions (hiring, terminations, promotions, etc.); assigns personnel to projects and directs their activities; reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reports.

    + Consults with personnel in other departments to coordinate activities; responsible for communication and acts as a liaison with internal departments.

    + Recommends strategies to assist the business in meeting its critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible; administers recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for business execution and identifies opportunities for improvement or efficiencies.

    + Supports the organization's strategy and service delivery standards; monitors service levels and key service delivery performance indicators or metrics, and identifies areas where performance can be improved through changes.

    + Helps develop long-term plans taking into account trends and changing organizational needs; decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from senior manager/director.

    + Advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures; evaluates and recommends changes to policies or procedures.

    + Possess comprehensive knowledge of department systems, programs and technology.

    + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree

    + Experience: 4 years relevant experience

    + Licenses/Certifications: None
