    Non-Destructive Testing Inspector

     

    Erie Forge and Steel, Inc. an industry leader in industrial machining for the Department of Defense (Navy & Coast Guard), has an immediate opening for a Non-Destructive Testing Inspector.

     

    + Candidates must successfully complete a Technical Competency Test

    + Must hold a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

    + Must satisfy ASNT TC-1A vision requirements

    + Minimum of 5 years' experience in inspecting close tolerance machined parts

    + Must be able to read complex drawings and use inspection equipment

    + A background as a Machinist helpful and familiarity with military requirements a plus

    + Must have NDT process knowledge

    + Successful Certification as a Level I or Level II UT, MT & PT, required. Certification will require on the job training as well as classroom training at another location.
