    Radiology Tech I - Diagnostic Radiology

     

    St. John's Regional Medical Center

     

    We are seeking a motivated and skilled **Radiology Tech I** to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. As a **Radiology Tech I** , you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team by operating radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging services for our patients.

     

    + Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.

    + Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.

    + Position patients and equipment to obtain the best possible images.

    + Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in accordance with safety protocols.

    + Assist radiologists and physicians in interpreting images.

    + Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

    + Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

    Qualifications

    + Less than 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist.

    + ARRT, CRT and BLS certification required. Fluoroscopy Permit required within 6 months of hire.

    + CT CPRBLS; CT CRT; CT ARRT

    + Must have basic working knowledge of all diagnostic imaging equipment. Must also know departmental protocols and procedures.

    + Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians and the patient population. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

    + Be a functional team member in a team oriented environment.

     

    This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

    Pay Range

    $40.50 - $50.42 /hour
