    JOB SUMMARY

    The Home Visitor provides direct delivery of all Early Head Start services to families through weekly home visits, Playgroup times, parent meetings and other program events. Delivery approach is comprehensive and includes the responsibility of empowering and supporting parents in their role as the primary educator of their child.

     

    This position works 40 hrs, 52 weeks per year.

     

    Position starts at $21.00 with an Associate's degree, $22.00 with a Bachelor's degree.

    Required Skills

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors Degree in Child Development, Education, Family Development , Sociology or related field preferred plus one (1) year related work experience; OR Associates Degree in above or related field with three (3) years related work experience.

    • Maintain access to reliable, insured transportation.

    • Provide a TVCCA Staff Statement of Good Health statement signed by a physician, physician’s assistant, or nurse practitioner completed within twelve (12) months before the date of employment, and every thirty-six (36) months for current staff.

    • First Aid and CPR certification.
