Position Summary
Northramp LLC is looking for smart, creative individuals interested in helping to grow something truly unique in our markets. We’re not just looking for a developer, we’re looking for an expert Power Apps Solution Architect who can lead with both code and strategy. You will serve as a technical architect and project lead, guiding the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role requires more than just hands-on development calls but for someone who can lead teams, engage clients, and manage technical delivery from end to end.
The ideal candidate will have experience building custom applications in Power Apps, a strong understanding of business process automation, and a track record of mentoring teams and managing technical delivery. Key Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a Power Apps Solution Architect who will:
+ Work with the client to develop, update, and maintain custom applications
+ Serve as an active member in an Agile development environment, helping to analyze and accommodate frequently changing product requirements.
+ Gather and document requirements to develop and customize applications and other solution features when applicable.
+ Determine appropriate data elements and data fields in systems associated with application development and related requirements.
+ Create new and maintain existing applications in Power Apps, integrating with other Microsoft platforms such as Power Automate and Power BI when necessary.
+ Develop and deliver communications, briefings, and guidance materials to ensure understanding of applications.
+ Provide technical support, quality assurance support and user acceptance testing.
+ Write and execute test cases on applications and thoroughly report any errors.
Required Qualifications:
+ US Citizenship
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
+ 10+ years’ experience in application development with 5+ years’ experience in PowerApps
+ Ability to work independently and to be a self-starter and able to operate in a proactive way
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; logical thinker and intellectual curiosity
+ Expert knowledge of the following tools:
+ Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
+ Microsoft Power Apps
+ Microsoft Power Automate
+ Microsoft Power BI
+ Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
+ Microsoft SQL Server BI Development Studio
+ Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
+ Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
+ Microsoft Visual Studio
+ Microsoft Visio
+ Jira Suite
+ Full Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodologies
+ Requirements Gathering and Solicitation
+ Testing
+ Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
Desired Qualifications:
+ Previous public sector experience
+ Active or previous U.S. government security clearance
