    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our pharmacy team on a contract-to-hire basis in Spokane Valley, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining smooth pharmacy operations. Your ability to provide accurate information and resolve issues efficiently will be vital to enhancing customer loyalty and overall service quality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email, providing accurate information about pharmacy products and services.

    • Assist customers with prescription requests and ensure accurate data entry based on medical orders.

    • Resolve insurance-related issues and discrepancies, ensuring payments are processed correctly.

    • Demonstrate empathy and orientation to customer-care

    • Manage patient profiles and organize paperwork while handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

    • Support general administrative tasks to enhance pharmacy efficiency and streamline operations.

    • Stay updated on pharmacy products, services, and industry standards by participating in training programs.

    • Schedule appointments and manage inbound calls to ensure timely responses to customer needs.

    • Utilize software tools like Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and order management.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.

     

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and documentation purposes.

    • Familiarity with prescription processing and insurance claim resolution.

    • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

    • Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

    • Knowledge of pharmacy products and services or willingness to learn.
