Adecco is looking to hire an experienced CNC Lather Operator for their Client in La Verne, CA.
Position Summary:
The CNC Lathe Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a solid grasp of G-code and CNC programming software.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Set up and operate CNC lathes for short-run and production jobs.
+ Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and CAD models.
+ Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) to improve efficiency and quality.
+ Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting conditions based on material and part specifications.
+ Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
+ Troubleshoot machine or program issues and make adjustments as needed.
+ Maintain equipment, tooling, and a clean and organized workspace.
+ Work collaboratively with quality control and engineering teams to meet production and quality targets.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proven experience in CNC programming (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar controls).
+ Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
+ Familiarity with CNC programming software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) is a plus.

**Pay Details:** $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
